unibrick for communities

Obviously people are directly helped by an affordable house to live in and to raise their children. But indirectly the impact is bigger. Providing proper shelter to families creates rest and financial stability. When that house is owned, rather than rented, it creates a long term perspective. This will shift focus on the neighbourhood, the education of their children, maybe the quality of the living conditions, who knows.

Improving that first level of safety in Maslow’s pyramid will seep through to all the other layers and improve the entire community. This is not just about buildings, it’s about the quality and prosperity of life that happens within them and further more about the resilience and self-esteem of the communities around the globe.

“Affordable housing brings stability, economic diversity and improves the physical quality of the neighborhood.”
