construction with unibrick
The strength of the unibrick lies in the simple yet unique shape; with just one brick shape you can stack them to a pilar, a wall and have that wall make a 90degree angle.
The unibricks are made of a plastic-sand compound, weighing 3,2kg for the small bricks (200x100x133mm (LxBxH)) and about 10kg for the large bricks (300x150x200mm (LxBxH)). In this way, each small unibrick helps to save about 4 kilos in CO2 emissions and even 15 kilos for the big unibricks, if the plastic was otherwise incinerated.
Using rods going through preformed holes in the unibricks, they are firmly locked in place. This construction is extremely quick since it rules out the use of any binding agent, keeps the flexibility of design and even makes it possible to easily change a construction when the need is there (eg. a room for the new born or the expansion of the shop when business goes well). Thus making them completely dismantlable and be reused to make other designs or extensions, just like giant blocks of 'Lego'.
